RUTA Montreal defends the rights of and represents special needs people in order to ensure their access to public transport services.

-To assemble users of the transportation service collective, regular and adapted, for people with special needs throughout the island of Montreal.

-Carry out research such as, identifying and taking note of users needs by creating ways of establishing cases for improving their overall access to transportation, regular and adapted.

-To promote and defend the rights and the interests of all users of public transportation.

-To take responsibility for all questions concerning the accessibility to collective transportation services, regular and adapted, posed by users and decision-makers.

-To exercise notable leadership in regard to the accessibility of collective transportation, regular and adapted.

-To inform the users of the efforts and progress that occurs in each case file.
